internX is FREE for all stakeholders (Students, Employers & Collaborators).
2. Who is eligible to apply for internX?
Rising sophomores – postgraduate students with at least a 2.8 GPA from ethnically underrepresented groups. Employers may create additional requirements, e.g., classification, GPA, major.
3. What are the majors/concentrations of potential interns?
STEM and Business-related positions in all sectors; financial, marketing, software, not-for-profits, real estate, etc.
4. What is the application deadline for internships?
The internX employer partners recruit on a rolling basis. You can post positions for Spring, Summer and Fall cycles.
5. Will intern provide relocation and housing assistance?
Most internX employers will provide a relocation stipend. internX can provide support for students with financial need.
6. Do I have a choice of what companies I can work for in internX?
Students are encouraged to apply for internships with multiple employers. Most students receive multiple offers. You can accept or decline an offer based on your needs.
7. What should I expect from an internX internship?
The internX internship is a paid 6-8-week internship. The employer partners are required to offer mentorship, networking, and stretched assignments. internX also provides, training opportunities before, during and after the internship.
8. How can I find out about the status of my application on internX?
All students can track the status of their application on the portal. Every applicant will have a personal dashboard that’s constantly updated.
9. If I am invited for an interview with an employer partner, how do I prepare?
internX provides a Learning Management System (LMS) that helps students prepare for virtual interviews, in-person interviews and panel interviews.
10. What policies and procedures am I expected to know?
Be prepared to complete fully and swiftly the application, assessments and any training. Also, any requests for information should be promptly answered. If you decline an offer, please be respectful and let us know so the company can move to another candidate.
11. How can I improve my chances of being selected?
internX scholars are encouraged to engage with the internX Learning Management System. It will help you prepare for the internship and be successful when you arrive to the job.

1) Name of Company 2) Point of Contact Information (email, phone, address, etc.) 3) Position Description 4) Location of internship positions and 5) Number of internship positions
6. What’s the duration of the internX positions?
internX recommends that all positions are a minimum of 6-8 weeks. We have some partners that provide 10-12-week internship opportunities.
7. What is the policy regarding compensation/salary of internX students?
internX students should receive competitive market compensation.
8. Will internX provide relocation assistance?
We are exploring a cost-sharing model with employers to manage relocation.
